 …and Happy New Year!  It’s hard to believe that 6 months has already passed since we opened here in beautiful .  We’ve been so busy that the time has just flown by.  But also, those of us from North America are used to relying on seasonal changes in weather and temperature to clue us in to the passing of time.  The fact that we’ve always been in flip-flops and shorts here makes it hard to see the passing of time as we saw it up north.  Sounds too good to be true?..... Come and find out for yourself!

  As you may know, unlike how we operated in Maryland all these past years, we’re open in for 9-week fasting sessions, during which you may come for anywhere from one to nine weeks.  These sessions are punctuated by 4-week periods during which we close to train our incoming group of interns, do any needed work on the building, and get a little down time.

  We’re in our last week of the second session here.  We have guests here now who have fasted anywhere from 1 to 6 weeks.  As of today, all but one will be eating again.  The group includes people with cancer, eating disorders and other emotional issues, chronic fatigue, hypertension, obesity, adrenal dysfunction, underweight, rheumatoid arthritis, as well as several who are apparently healthy but want to be even healthier. 

 
 As is typical, most of these people will leave here with a new lease on life, and a dramatically higher level of health and function.

 
 As always, in addition to giving their bodies the perfect conditions and opportunity to heal themselves from virtually any condition, they also receive basic instruction in how to meet all of their bodies’ needs.  The most committed students often take our unconditionally-guaranteed Creating Perfect Health System home with them to both reinforce what they’ve already learned, and to take their level of knowledge and understanding to new heights.

 
 Among this group are the interns who will be breaking their 21-day fasts this weekend, spending one week eating, and then beginning the 4-week orientation and training program which will prepare them for 9 weeks of service during our next fasting session, and more importantly, the rest of their lives.  In addition to a complete education in creating amazing levels of health and vitality, they’ll learn how to become more emotionally balanced and positive, how to consciously create anything they choose, how to communicate more peacefully, and how to live in community.
